I started an experiment with my process and have started pencilling the comic on my iPad. I am currently using the app Adobe Ideas. I chose it because it is easy to draw in and has simple but smooth brushes. It is also vector based, so I can zoom in on the drawing without it getting blurry, and I can export it to any size I want in case I want to print it or something.
I am liking the experiment so far. It is super convenient to draw upstairs on my couch vs. being chained to my desk (I don’t really have chains. That is a metaphor to represent the honking 80-pound behemoth of a Cintiq sitting on my desk.)
I’ve been using a combo of my Jot stylus, my Wacom Bamboo stylus, and my finger. It kinda depends on what’s on hand at the moment.

I would hope that your finger is always on hand!
Do you still use Sketchbook Pro? I’ve grown tired of it and looking for an alternative.
Procreate is my current favorite, and this page was drawn in Adobe Ideas.
